With a deep love and appreciation for ‘the handmade’, I often commission wonderfully talented local craftsmen to make specially designed furniture that is unique to each project. My goal always is to create lasting rooms where my clients love to spend time in.

Being raised in India was a feast to the senses! But also being raised in a household of textile merchants exposed me to extraordinary beauty everyday. I was always surrounded by beautiful sarees in vivid colors, bold prints and ornate Zari (Gold thread) embroidery. Not only was I exposed to a variety of textiles and patterns at a young age, I was also enchanted by the process of creating a masterpiece. I still remember my grandfather bringing home some of his creations, fresh off the loom. As the folds fell away, they unravelled a masterful blend of Silk, Cotton and Metallic elements woven into one Sari. It was probably during those experiences, that I developed a love of color, texture, pattern and material that has manifested in my design career today.
